Sprint: 750m Swim, 15mile Bike, 5k Run Olympic: 1500m Swim, 40k Bike, 10k Run Long Course: 1.2 mile Swim, 56 mile Bike, 13 mile run **These are the actual distances. The course maps show the courses (which are correct except for the turnarounds) will be altered to show the above distances. |

- The new registration site for this event, ImAthlete.com, is set up for the purchase of your 1 day USAT license "online". No more remembering cash or checks at packet pick-up. - The Run courses will be changed slightly for 2011. And yes, they will include NEW signage and be well marked! - Please be patient for the final location of the Transition area. The future owners of the Casino and the Former Ritz will determine this. - Wetsuits will be allowed at this race. We actually recommend them. Lake temperature on 3/23/10 was 62 degrees. Hammer Nutrition is still on the Showdown Team! Hammer Products will be available in your race packets and on the race course as well. |

3 Races! A Sprint, Olympic and Long Course Triathlon (1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike, 13.1 mile run)! Anyone can race the The Showdown at Sundown. All athletes under 18 must submit a parental permission waiver provided at registration. Its the perfect venue for the whole family to come out and cheer you on.
